How to recycle plastic films

If you’d like to recycle clean plastic film, bags, bubble wrap, or mailers, a container is available in the large trash and recycling drawer in the kitchen on the left side. Plastic wrap and bags from our kitchen are compostable, so this is just for outside materials. Please make sure they land inside the bag, it’s not attached very well so it can be easy to miss.

What’s allowed:

In general, if the plastic stretches, it should go in here as long as it is clean and not soiled with food. If food doesn’t come off with a rinse, such as oily packaging, please discard in trash.
